EDUCACIÓ. ENTRE POLÍTICA I PEDAGOGIA. A propòsit de les lleis

Massa països, preocupats per el mal funcionament del sistema escolar i la poca funcionalitat, eficiència, eficàcia i optimització de la institució escolar opten pel camí feixuc inútil de les lleis llargues i hiperreguladores. Entre ells España, Catalunya, i ara Venezuela. USA en canvi, seguint l'empremta de Dewey sembla que va per un altre camí.

ARTICLE V. THE SCHOOL AND SOCIAL PROGRESS.
I believe that education is a regulation of the process of coming to share in the social consciousness; and that the adjustment of individual activity on the basis of this social consciousness is the only sure method of social reconstruction.
I believe that this conception has due regard for both individualistic and socialistic ideals. It is duly individual because it recognizes the formation of a certain character as the only genuine basis of right living. It is socialistic because it recognizes that this right character is not to be formed merely by individual precept, example, or exhortation, but rather by the influence of a certain form of institutional or community life upon the individual, and that the social organism through the school, as its organ, may determine ethical results.
I believe that in the ideal school we have the reconciliation of the individualistic and the institutional ideals. (John Dewey: My pedagogic creed, 1897).

Cada centre haurà de formular una carta de compromís educatiu en la qual s'expressin els objectius necessaris per assolir un entorn de convivència i respecte pel desenvolupament de les activitats educatives. Les famílies hauran de conèixer la carta i hauran d'avenir-se a compartir els principis que la inspiren. El Departament haurà d'impulsar les orientacions que determinin els continguts per a l'elaboració d'aquesta carta. Compromís unilateral? Tutelat per l'Administració? L'obligació no inhibirà la llibertat i la responsabilitat?




Entre otras novedades del texto, destaca que se podrá repetir dos veces en 4º de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria (ESO), la promoción con tres suspensos en cada uno de los tres primeros cursos de la ESO. Quins detalls en una llei orgànica!



La Asamblea Nacional aprobó este jueves el proyecto de Ley Orgánica de Educación después de un largo debate que terminó a la medianoche y el que se votó por unanimidad tras la retirada de la oposición de la plenaria. (¿?¡!)
